Snowflake Challenge
Challenge #2
In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.
This also doubles as a public declaration of some goals for GYWO - Get Your Words Out as well (sign ups are open through Jan 17)
Writing related/adjacent
1: Finish *something*. Whether it's Torch Song or something completely new, I'd really like to put out some fic again this year.
2: Figure out how to share my knowledge - likely via a podcast or two since text based mediums like blogs are not really en vogue anymore. I count this as writing because even a podcast needs a script.
3: In addition to finishing something and "publishing" I would like to get solid starts if not finish other longer works as well. I have issues finding and more importantly keeping beta readers which makes the whole 'publishing' difficult. But finishing a rough draft or getting pretty far in one would be nice too.
4: Find more writing friends
Non writing related
1: Try to get a better handle on my (potential still, but likely I think) ADHD, including a diagnosis
2: Getting my financial situation in better standing, which I am slowly beginning to do.
3: Pay more attention to my health/try to find a decent GP doctor
4: Do more solid paper journal work - so like emotional stuff and fun stuff, broaden my bullet journal skills
5: art skills??
